Bellingham - Teri Bryant, co-owner of The Black Drop Coffeehouse, has been named Northwest Regional Representative for the Barista Guild of America (BGA). "Baristas are the final hand that crafts the coffee the world enjoys," said Bryant. "The BGA is a community of quality-minded Baristas working together to advance their profession." [Drop note: these quote comes from the BGA itself.] Bryant hopes to help organize a "Barista Jam" later this year - an informal meeting open to all baristas to fine tune their technique, "talk smack" about espresso, and learn how to make their coffee taste better and better.
